Recovering the mdb file

Recovering the mdb

Hi,

I am getting an error while trying to open the mdb. "Microsoft Jet Engine
cannot process the file as the file is locked by some other user".

I tried to repair the mdb using compact and Repair feature in Access.

But it throwed me same error message.
Is there any way to recover the mdb file?

Thanks,
Venu

All users that were logged on must logoff.
Sounds like some one exited un-gracefully like shutting down their PC with
the application open.

Often the Locks Data Base (.ldb) file will remain when someone has
terminated their Access session in an MDB abnormally. If everyone is
out of the application and the Filename.LDB remains, try to delete it.

Even after using compact and repair feature in Access you are not able to
repair your corrupt mdb file then you need to use access recovery software
from Stellar. This software uses the powerful algorithm to scan the corrupt
mdb file and recover damaged corrupted MS Access ,mdb file with table,
queries, forms, report, macros and modules. You can download it demo version
