Recovery of document

Hello I accidently erased text of a word document that was
saved. Is there a way for me to recover the document?

Betty,

If you mean you erased the text and then saved the (empty)
file, you're pretty much up the creek, unless you made a
backup (this sort of experience highlights the need for same)
or if you happen to have the "GoBack" utility (once found
on some Gateway PCs) or something similar.

If you erased the text and then exited Word without saving,
the text should still be there.

You may want to restore it from your backup on your CD-R
