It depends on how they were protected. Is a password required to open the
file? If so then you might have some success with password cracking
utilities that are available. (But keep in mind you are providing personal
information, such as a credit card, to a known crack!)
If the documents were protected using Tools/Protect Document then create a
new document and insert the contents of the protected document into the new
one.
