Can the enterprise global template be recreated so that it is in its
default state at installation? Through a series of errors and
mishaps, it appears that the global template has been corrupted to the
point that the system can no longer find the global - I get the
dreaded "Can't retrieve the enterprise global template when trying to
open Project Pro 2007 while connected to PWA.
The resource center, enterprise calendar, and custom field/lookup
table information seems to be intact, and I can still edit and create
new projects when I start Project Pro offline and then go online from
the File menu. Saving and publishing also works fine - it's just the
enterprise global template that seems to be missing and unavailable to
the system. When I try to open the global from Project Pro's
Tools>Enterprise Options menu, I get a more detailed error message
basically saying that the enterprise global template is nowhere to be
found.
Is there a way to recreate it if it has actually been deleted from the
database?
I hope there's a solution short of reinstallation...
