Recreating Meeting room

Here is a scenario;
meeting room mailbox was recreated. before deleting original mailbox
was exmerged to PST and the contents were imported back to a brand new
mailbox. this was done due to some mapi errors.

When a user tries to send updates to an originally setup meeting
he/.she gets
You marked "<resource name>" as a resource. You cannot schedule a
meeting with "<resource name>" because you do not have the appropriate
permissions for that account. Either enter the name as a required or
optional attendee or talk to your administrator about giving you
permission to schedule "<resource name>".

The person trying to send update is the originator of the meeting and
this is for all users.
I can reproduce the issue by
creating a new resource,
adding contents,
exmerging out,
delete mailbox,
recreate mailbox,
exmerge contents back in,
now try to send update and it fails.

it works if i give user editor permission on the calendar, but it wont
be acceptable as he/she can modify all entries. We only need to allow
user to modify hi/her own meeting requests.

is there a special procedure to follow in case a milbox has to be
recreated for a resource.
