Recreating Workspace after it has been deleted?

Hi, We had a workspace which gave us issues. We deleted it and now want to
recreate it but i get the following error:

"The Web site already exists. Changing the name of the Web site you are
trying to create, or select a diffrent site collection and try again."

So obviously the site name is still stuck somewhere.... is there a way to
get around this and use the same sitename?

Hello TheWall,

You can perform the following steps to view workspace name and delete
it from here.

Steps:

On PWA and click on Site Actions menu from top right corner and click
on Site Settings

Under Site Administration section click on Sites and Workspaces

Scroll down to the workspace that you have removed just now for the
project and click on the “X” symbol to delete it completely.

Click OK in the following page to ensure deletion

Almost but no luck... the site i deleted is not in that list...

Ok, well i just gave it a diffrent Name... recreated successfully.
