Try this, press ctrl + H, put the cursor in the find what box and press Alt
+ enter,
leave replace with either empty or put a space there

In the replace what: dialog box

That would be Alt + 0010 on the NumPad

Or just CTRL + j

Hello-

I am in the middle of a bad situation. I have a lot of rectangle
symbols that have shown up in my excel document when I open it. When I
try to copy this symbol and do find and replace it does not want to
copy over. Is there any way to mass delete all of these symbols at
once?
