recurring appointment & deleting

looking to know if outlook can handle recurring appointments in this manner
(i haven't been able to get outlook 2000 to work the way i want):

i have a recurring appointment for a meeting (indefinitly) that has a
different note for each occourance. the notes reflect points of interest
from that dates meeting.

can i delete all appointments after a certain date without loosing the
changes made to each appointment's notes? i've lost the data several times
already.

You would have to delete each recurrence instance separately (manually).

darn, i was hoping it wouldn't come this this... but, knowing is better
than searching for something that isn't there.
