I have both Exchange 2003 and 2007 systems and I tested this on both
systems and do not know where to go from here.
1. I create a normal recurring appointment in Outlook.
2. I double click it and select "Open this occurrence"
3. I make a modification that involves updating new/removed attendees
(either changing the location or adding removing people)
4. Close the meeting so that updates are send.
5. Double click the meeting and get the error "Cannot read one instance
of this recurring appointment. Close any open appointments and try
again, or recreate the appointment."
I keep getting this same error until i restart Outlook. Then the first
time is okay and after that the same error. I have created a new store,
moved the user mailbox over, created new mailboxes, tested it on a newly
installed Exchange 2007 system (4 days old) and still the same issue.
What could be the problem or how can I narrow it down even further?
