Recurring Appointment Issue

I have a user that set up a recurring appointment using a DL she
created with O2K. The appointment goes through the rest of this year. She
has had to reschedule a few of them periodically to a different time.
She'll reschedule only that particular occurrence then send out the updated
meeting request. The update does not show up in everyone's calendars. It
is
inconsistent with what users from the DL do or do not get the rescheduled
appointment in their calendars. She is following the correct procedure to
reschedule the appointment but there is still the problem of not everyone's
calendar being updated.
Anyone know why this could occur and/or give me some additional pointers
in where to look for the root cause of the problem and solution to it?
