Recurring Appointment issue

Hi,

I have a custom calendar form installed in office 2003, xp.

If I created an appointment for recurring, after saving it in first time,
every thing is Okay. But reopen that recurring appointment gives an error
"Cann't read one instance of this recurring appointment. Close any open
appointments and try again, or recreate the appointment", Outlook will not
allow update, also not allowing open other custom tabs in Calendar form, the
error is "The operation failed".

Any help?
