In our hospital the imaging section (X-ray, MRI, cat scan) keeps all the
appointments using Outlook calendars in public folders. Because appointments
need to be spread they use different time slots for each type of equipment.
Example x-ray uses 8:15- 9:00 while MRI uses 8:30 - 9:15. They contruct these
calendars using recurring appointments.
Problem is that all these recurring appointments are driving our Exchange
server nuts. We are using Exchange 2003 w/ SP2 but increasingly the scheduler
is finding that she cannot change or delete appointments.
Questions:
1. Is there a fix? SP2 was suppose to solve this problem but did not.
2. Can we construct a custom calendar with the special times so recurring
appointments do not have to be used?
