Recurring appt

D

David

1) recurring appt set for each Wed - used for two year
2) modified that recurring appt today - changed frequency to every 2nd Wed
3) was thinking that I was modifing future appts but in fact all past appt
(plus data and notes) were modified too ie half of the appts for the last 2
yrs were deleted
4) is there a way to recover this data in Outlook? Prefer not to go back to
an earlier reset point for the whole computer...but may look at that...maybe
not

Since a recurring item is only a single item, changing the recurrence
changes the entire series. Only the first entry is real. The remaining
entries are calculated from the recurrence, so changing the recurrence
regenerates all entries.

Unless you have a backup of your data store (PST or Exchange mailbox,
depending on what type of account you use), no.
