Recurring event in Calendar

Paul Berkowitz

Is it possible to create a recurring event in Calendar for every Friday, but
not on the first Friday of the month?

No. You can make separate Monthly recurring events for the second, third,
and fourth Fridays of the month. That will still miss out Fridays of months
which have a fifth Friday. You can make another one for the last Friday of
the month but then you'll get duplicates for the fourth Friday if there are
only four. Or just make non-recurring events for those when you see them.
After you make your first one for the second Friday of every month, hold
down option key and drag the event, in the Monthly view, to copy it to the
3rd and then again to 4th Friday. Those will be non-recurring. Open each one
and make them monthly recurring events for every 3rd and 4th Fridays
respectively. That's easier than typing out all the details. Find a month
with 5 Fridays and repeat there, optionally making it recurring for 'last
Friday" if you don't mind the duplicates for months with only 4 Fridays
(which is not so terrible).
