I want to schedule some events to last a school year -- for example, a class I teach every Monday at 8:30. When I set up the recurring event, is there a way to indicate that it should not occur on a particular date? For example, if I have that class every Monday, but not on Labor Day -- is there a way to set up the recurring event for every Monday except that one?

I want to schedule some events to last a school year -- for example,
a class I teach every Monday at 8:30. When I set up the recurring
event, is there a way to indicate that it should not occur on a
particular date? For example, if I have that class every Monday, but
not on Labor Day -- is there a way to set up the recurring event for
every Monday except that one?

Sorry, that's not possible. The recurrences are based on a formula
starting with your first date.

I suggest you create a second all-day event for the holiday and then set
its status as "Out of Office".

Alternatively, you should be able to delete the event from specific days
but this may cause problems should you want to alter the recurrence later.

Hope this helps!
