Recurring item error in Outlook 2002 Calendar

When Opening a recurring calendar item, I get this
message--

"Can't Open this item. The object could not be found"

The problem is specific to one particular PC.
Uninstalling and reinstalling Outlook does not resolve
the problem.

Does anyone know how to resolve the problem?
