I inadvertantly set my brothers birthday to be a recurring reminder with no
end. I guess I was thinking he would live forever. Now there are over
14,000 entries on his birthday reminding me of my mistake.
I used the following to fix on OUtlook 2003
start->run->outlook.exe /cleanreminders
I can't figure out how to fix it on Exchange Server 2003 Public Calendar.
I have attempted to delete the recurirng events. Message reads " This item
could not be deleted. It was either moved or already been delete, or access
was denied."
Then I tried deleting the recurrence from within the appointment. When I
try to save the message reads "There is not enough memory available to
perform the operation."
At my wits end. Just started syncing my new treo with my public folders and
my brother's 14,000 birthday recurrences are now there too.
