I have just managed to get Outlook 2002 running on my new Vista Home Premium
laptop (apart from the password retention issue that I know I have to live
with in this version), but one further issue remains.
I had a task set up with multiple recurrences – ie to run every Monday,
Wednesday and Friday. The most recent instance generated has a due date in
the past (17 Apr) that I hadn’t marked as ‘complete’ when I had to stop using
my previous (XP) laptop just before then.
This task instance hangs Outlook when I try to mark it as complete, edit its
recurrence, change its due date, delete it, in short anything which could
possibly get rid of it! I have tried this from the calendar view, task view,
and reminder popup.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get round this, please?
