recurring task to occur on 10th business day of month

Mark

I want to set up a recurring task to occur on the 10th business day of the
month.

I set up a task to occur on the 10th of the month and set up a base calendar
with weekends and holidays as non-working times. The tasks were set up on the
10th of the month, except for those where the 10th was a weekend or holiday.

How do I do this?

Thanks,
Mark

Mark,
Why did you post twice - we got it the first time.

Unfortunately the insert recurring task feature is not sophisticated
enough to understand business days. Unless you have a ton of them to do,
I'd set them up manually. If you do have a ton to set up, use the
recurring task feature to set them up for the 10th of the month and then
manually modify those that do not occur on the 10th business day.

Note, this could be automated using VBA, but that would probably take
longer than the manual approach unless you are real proficient in
Project VBA.

Hope this helps.

John,

I don't have a large number to input, so I will do it manually.

Thanks for your response,

Mark,
You're welcome. Sometimes the manual but simple and straightforward
approach turns out to be the best.
