Recurring Task

In MS Project, is there a way to either 1) change a non-
recurring task to a recurring task or 2) when importing
all tasks from a spreadheet into project to bring those
tasks in as "recurring" tasks? or 3) take an entire
annual project calendar and "roll forward" the dates en
masse? This will be useful to avoid having to manually
update the calendar every year so it will properly
poplulate the calendar for the coming year.

1. No. You will have to enter a new task as a recurring task. Note that
recurring tasks behave differently from non-recurring tasks. They always
have a "Start No Earlier Than" constraint and have a priority of 1000 (this
affects leveling.)

2. No. (I tried several possibilities and none worked.)

3. No. Although many non-working dates are constant (New Years Day,
Independence Day, etc.) others (Easter) are not.

Regarding q3, I usually suggest that users bite the bullet and spend an
hour or so inputting the holidays etc into the calendar for the next 10
years or so
