Red cross where graphic should be

Just uploaded a photo onto my site but when I open the page there is just a
small red cross appearing where it shoud be.
Why does this happen?
It's OK in my Browser before uploading.

inserting on a page and saving?

Uploaded the changed Webpage but hadn't uploaded the extra Photo in my image
file.

does you host support large files?

if not reduce the size of the image, with Paint, or some other photo editing
program.
