I accidentally hit a key and now I have red underlining and editing marks on my document, how do I remove these?

Hi Sharon,

You accidentally turned on "Tools > Track changes". Either use the menu
("Tools > Track changes" and/or "Tools > Unprotect document" depending on
the version of Word), or double-click on TRK in the status bar below the
doc.
You'll have to accept or reject all changes. Depending on the version you
are using, you can use the menu ("Tools > Track changes") and/or the
reviewing toolbar. Better don't set Word not to display the tracked changes:
they'd stay in the document.

Greetings,
Klaus
