Red Spell Check Underline Not Disappearing

J

James D. Priest

If a misspelling in Word includes a comma or period (such as
"them.Recently"), when a space is added after the period the red line
remains under the first word (in this case "them"). Any suggestions
about how to correct this? Thanks very much.

If you right-click or control-click to get a Suggested Spelling instead,
Word will realize it is confused and eliminate the red line. Sorry not
to have a better answer, I see this too. I'd never noticed the
punctuation trigger, though.

If it's "fixed", don't "break it"!
