redefine the Edit->Fill->Down shortcut key

The Edit->Fill->Down shortcut key is CTRL+D. Is there a
way to refine the shortcut?

When I press CTRL+D, Excel gives me a "Run-time
error '1004': Method 'Range' of object '_Global' failed"
error.

Any info would be appreciated...
