Redefine the word "CONTENT" in PowerPoint on your next upgrade.

In PowerPoint you have
(A) Text and Content
(B) Design Template and Content Template

I think the word "content" is used too loosely and causes confusion.

Can you substitute "content" in (A) with "graphics?"
Don't understand why you didn't do this in the first place?

How about "non-text" or "visual aids?" Anything but "content???" Strictly
speaking, in plain English, text is also content of the slide too. Will keep
thinking.

images?? icons?? graphics plus?? other (i.e. text and other)??

Just thinking aloud and hoping to get other members think ......

Will keep brainstorming. There are many brilliant minds at Microsoft; may
be they can come up with something.

How about "objects?"

I can't buy "non-text" because the placeholder might contain text, or at least
representations of it. And the whole presentation and the slides in it are visual
aids, so I have a problem with that.
