redirect file locations for multiple users

I would like to redirect the file locations under word/preferences/file
locations to a location on the local computer instead of our network.
I can do this for a single user. We have multiple user logging on to
the workstation and everytime a new user logs on the locations go back
to the default locations.

Aren't most of the defaults mapped to locations within the user account? Why
would you want them to go to the local computer?

File Locations are stored in the preferences file, it might work to set up
one person's prefs file and copy it to everyone else's account, though
expect some anger when people find their prefs overwritten.
