Redirect-Rule clarification

OK some background, I got exchange 2003 sp2 and outlook 2003 sp3.

I have a users whom have more than 1 account and we have been using a
redirect rule for sometime now but they have raised an issue to me and im not
sure if it's a limitation of the rule or not. Maybe i'm missing someting.

Rule is simple, after mail arrives, any message, gets redirected to another
email address. This address is an external addy.

OK so the message comes to the external mail box just fine as the sender was
originally sending to the address, but if any other email addreses are in the
TO or CC were in the original message, after the redirect they are wipped.

I always thought this was by design and normal, but one of my users actually
showed me a message that works with the redirect rule, so no other users are
trying to get the samething. maybe i'm missing something. Anyone out there
know the in's and out's of creating a redirection rule? The limitations?

Add thing is..meeting requests work just fine with redirection.
