Hi everyone,
I'm using Outlook 2003 for email. My ISP is Comcast, and I have a
regular Comcast email address that works fine.
However, I also have a website for a small business I'm running where
I have my email redirected into my Comcast account. (I set up Outlook
to use Comcast's SMTP server for outbound mail, smtp.comcast.net, and
the business ISP's server for Pop3 inbound mail.)
Here's my problem. Until the last month or so, this always worked
fine. Now I'm finding that my "business mail" that I send, or mail
that is sent to my business email address, is being delayed. In some
cases by as much as 1-5 hours! Comcast hasn't been much help, but it
looks like they've implemented some kind of spam control that thinks
I'm spamming and that mail somehow gets delayed as a result. This is
hurting my business. Should I be setting up my mail differently?
Thanks,
Paul Pinella
