Redraw problem for AutoShapes

We have several lab systems with Office XP installed that have all of a
sudden started to experience a problem with AutoShapes. When a user
creates either a Word document or a PowerPoint slide with AutoShapes,
everything seems to be working okay. However, if the user were to
switch to another page or slide, or even minimize the screen, the image
of the AutoShape disappears or at part of it disappears. Either the
color or the border. Has anyone seen anything like this before and if
so, how do you fix it?

Windows 2000 Professional SP4 and all patches.
Office XP with all service packs and patches installed.

Quite possible that you need to update your video card driver. Check on
the manufacturer's web site for a more current version and install it.
