Reduce file size for attachement in Outlook

We found sometime user paste the charts/tables in outlook and the file size
is huge. When double click on those tables/charts, we found the whole file is
attached. What is the best way to have those tables/charts pasted and
displayed in Outlook without including the file?

Sorry, this is very unclear. The "file" - being what? A Powerpoint
chart, an Excel table, or an image (like JPG or GIF)?

Please be specific - from where do you get these charts/tables, and what
is your version of Outlook? Also, what message format do you use (plain
text, HTML, Rich Text)?
