Reduce the width of the side block on the cross functional band

How do I reduce (or even remove) the width of that extra block to the side of
the first functional band. My flow charts just can't quite fit on one page so
want to reduce the size of this block a little.

I've tried the protection properties and just can't find what else to try?

Strangely, it is fixed to the value of the User.GridRounding in the header
shape of the Vertical Holder.
So, click on the header twice, then open the ShapeSheet.
Scroll down to the User-defined Cells, and edit the formula in
User.GridRounding to =1 mm*Sheet.1!User.AntiScale, for example

Many thanks.

I was able to reduce size by reducing the value e.g 0.1
By entering value as 0mm removed it.

Cheers

I need to do this also, but I don't understand the first part of David's
instruction. Double-clicking on the header of the Cross-Functional Flow
shape only activates the text area in it. How do I open the ShapeSheet for
this shape in Visio2007?

Clicking twice here isn't the same as double-clicking, click once to
select one part (the group part) of the shape, clicking again, say, 1
second later will select the section of the group.
The shapesheet can be accessed from menu
Window -> Show Shapesheet

That worked perfectly Paul. Many thanks to you, David and Deb for helping me
fix something that has bugged me for a long time. :)
