Reducing font sizes

Using Pub 2000. The text headers on following pages that are developed from
the navigation bar on the first page will not stay at a large or specific
font. I'm trying to use Comic Sans MS or Verdana at 36 font. Any ideas?
Also I'm using a table with the large font inside to stay the same when
previewing on web. Does this turn it into a large file size as it's viewed as
a graphic?
Ant tips or insite?

To use a custom header and one of that large a size you need to not use the
wizard and not use text. For a text of that size you need to use a graphics
editor and create a graphic representation of the text and then use that
picture in the pub file.
As to what formatting can be supported in the output html and what converts
or not and file sizes, that is all dependent on (specific to version 2000)
what code technology is used by Publisher, and that is determined by the
target browser setting in the web properties.
In version 2000 I always recommend the lowest setting (3.0) to result in a
cleaner html output, higher settings will introduce CSS and CSS2 that can
support more complex formatting. You can try saving the web under different
settings and compare the output files each setting produces to determine if
you like one over another for your design.
