Reducing line spacing in subreport

I have created a report with several subreports. The subreports print with
too much space between each data line (appears double spaced). I need to
macke this single spacing to allow room for all data to print in my 2 page
limit. How do you adjust line spacing in a subreport?

What do you mean by "line"?

If it's kubes of text within a text box, then there is
nothing you can do beyond using a smaller font size.

If it's separate instances of the detail section, then make
each text box and label shorter and arrange them so they are
at the top of the section or up against the bottom of the
text box above. Make sure the bottom of the detail section
is as far up as you can make it.

If all that doesn't help, please provide a lot more details
about your "lines"

Description of "lines":

In one subreport, I have 4 data labels, and, in the detail section, each data
label has a column of data underneath. There appears to be 1/2 - 1 line of
space between each data item in the columns. This gives each line (4 items
lining up from left to right underneath each data label) a double spaced
appearance. This is taking up to much room on the report. I have tried
changing several things in the property section without effect. Thanks for
your help. If needed, I might be able to send a copy of the report/subreport.
Thanks....

Here is what it looks like:

Problem / Diagnosis Status
Resp MD/DO Resp Svc

Concussion Acute
Dr. X Nsurg

SDH Acute
Dr. X Nsurg

Afib Chronic
PCP IM

******* It is the space between each "line", ie between concussion and SDH.
Thanks.

Did you reduce the Height of all the text boxes and move the
bottom of the section up as far as it will go?
