Reduction of font size while printing...

Hi

I have word document with font size 12, left margin 4cm, right margin 3 cm,
top margin 1.25cm and bottom 1.25 cmmargin. but whenever I print the document
the font size on paper is 10pt and the there is plenty of space left on right
and bottom of the page(The paper size selected is A4).

For clarification it is also added that we got this problem after we
introduced footnotes, so if some one can come up with an answer of this,
really annoying as we try to copy paste the text into another document as
well but the problem remains there.

For printer test we have print another document and it was OK, so believe
that printer setting is OK.

Does your document have comments or tracked changes?
If you have turned on Balloons in Tools > Options > Track Changes tab and if
you are in “Final Showing Markup†view (Reviewing toolbar), Word will make a
wide right margin for the balloons.

Thanks, the problem is solved now, you are right it was regarding comments.
