Reduction of Window size

The list of all my files ect in My Documents and all the other listed files
are normally presented to me as a Window the size of the old Quarto.
Inadvertently I must have pressed something on the body of the Window,
because it enlarged so that My Documents fill the whole of my quite large
monitor screen, although other lists are presented in their previous sizes.
I tried to reduce the size of the Window of My Documents without success.
What should I do to reduce the size of that Window to its previous size?

Not unless you aren't referring to the Open File dialog or the Save As
dialog boxes.
