In the gantt chart view, I have added a custom col that shows the
'number of calendar days'- between the START and FINISH dates.
Now, in a second new custom field -"Total Accom Cost"-, I want t
multiply 'number of calendar days' by the cost of accomodation for on
night. i.e. the formula would be "Calendar days * Accomodatio
$rate/night".
However, I don't want to hard-code the accommodation cost into th
formula, so instead I have defined a -resource- (in the Resource sheet
called "Accomodation", given it TYPE = "Material" and given fields "STD
RATE" & "COST/USE" both = $100.
Now I want to refer to that resource cost in my formula for "Total Acco
Cost" - How can I refer to a -specific resources "STD. RATE" o
"COST/USE" valu-e in a formula?
Or, is there a better way to achieve what I want? (I still want a custo
field for "Total Accom Cost" in my gantt chart view though)
Thanks,
Andre
