Reference a text in a different sheet.

I have a sheet that you would enter data in. I want to
reference the data to a background page. I can make it
work on the same sheet but not on any other page. This
is the formula I'm trying to use: SHaPETEXT(sheetN!
theText).

How do I refence a shape name to another page?

I can use the off page reference stencil which will allow
me to enter text on one sheet and it will sync the text
to another sheet, does anyone know how I can reference a
shapename from one sheet to another. I need to reference
multiple sheets from one shapename.
