Hello,

I am new to Mac Office 2008 but was playing around in Word 2008 and came across a bug. If you go to the Word menu-about Word-click on reference tools... you will get a window titled About proofing and Reference Tools. Once this window pops up you can only scroll down/up but can't get out of it, unless you force quit the entire Word application. Can anyone tell me how to close this window. Please advise. Thank you

Not that way here - in the lower right corner of the window there is an OK
button which closes that window & returns you to the About... Window. Are
you sure the window isn't just positioned so low that you can't see the OK
button - perhaps being hidden by the Dock or even below the edge of your
screen? Grab the window's title bar & drag it up.
