References and bibliography

There seems to be a bug in the macro inserting an extra space between a
journal title and the volume number. Also, it fails to put a period after the
editor in an edited document.

If I'm not mistaken, those issues have been fixed in Word 2010 along with a
few others.

What you can do is download the beta of Office 2010 from
http://www.microsoft.com/office/2010/en/default.aspx

Using the command prompt, you can extract the beta installation files to a
location. For example, for an extraction to the directory 'E:\test', you
would type: ProfessionalPlus.exe /extract:"e:\test". Once extracted, browse
to the 'ProPlus.WW' directory and open 'ProPsWW2.cab'. From it, you can
extract 'APA.XSL'.

Alternatively, you can install the beta. Assuming you are using the default
installation path and the 32-bit version, you can find the file 'APA.XSL' in
the directory 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Office14\Bibliography\Style' once the installation is finished.

Copy the file to your Word 2007 style directory. Assuming a 32-bit system
and a default installation, that directory will be 'C:\Program
Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\Bibliography\Style'

NOTE: before overwriting the file APA.XSL, make sure to make a BACKUP of the
one currently used by Word 2007.

It might be a bit of an overkill to download an entire beta of 700MB to get
a 350KB file though :)
