References on flow charting...

I've been around flow charts for years but never had any real training. I
thought maybe it would be a good idea to find a book and actually learn more
about how to properly create flow charts. However, when I searched Amazon for
"flow chart" I was amazed that I couldn't actually find any books on flow
charting. Is flow charting really that out of favor? Can anyone point me to a
reference book for learning flow charting or a tutorial on the subject?

The course I took (long ago) used it for flow charting.
