Referencing Milestones through entire Gantt Chart

I have a Gantt chart that is several pages long. If I have a Milestone
entered at the top of my Gantt Chart, can I project a line down the entire
chart for that milestone so I have a quick point of reference on the entire
chart??

Hello s_wicklund,

You may draw a line on your Gantt chart using the line tool in the
drawing toolbar. Once you've created the line, double click on the line
to show the Format Drawing dialog box. On the Size & Position tab you
can attach the line to a specific date/time on the timescale or to a
specific task.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Excellent!! Now I have one more questions? Can the line be set up to
expand (or contract) depending on whether I show (or hide) the subtasks in my
project??

Thank you,

Glad to have helped and thanks for the feedback.

To your new question, sorry, no. That's one of the downsides of drawing
lines, they aren't dynamic in resizing.
