I have a report that uses various tables to report attendance for certain
dates and one of the sorting groups in the rpt is based on a joined table
where each person attending has one of 3 meal types associated w/them. The
report itself works fine but i want to be able reference the count of names
in each meal category at the end of the report - not just at the end of the
group. W/all the fields in the qry that the rpt is based on, it won't give me
a count using the totals field but I can create a new qry using just the
attendance date and the number of meal types for each date. Can I reference
that count in my rpt based on the attendance date without making a subreport
containing it? (I already have 2 subreports in the main for other types of
guests so i don't want to slow it down by adding another). If i try a build
and reference the field in the qry, it doesn't recognize the qry name.
Thanks!
