Assuming no master data source file, is it possible to
simply "reformat" a stand-alone label document, containing
1500 name/address records, from a 10-label sheet to a 20-
label layout?
No guarantees, here, but my gut feeling is "Yes". Question
is, would it be worth your time to try to reformat the table
columns? Or would it make more sense to have one table
column, each row an address (except the first, for the merge
field name), and use this for mail merge to the correct label
format?
I'd incline to the latter approach. Start a new document.
Select a column, copy/paste into the new document. Position
the cursor just below the last cell and repeat the above
until all columns have been processed. Insert a new row at
the top and type in something like: Address
Start a new merge document, link to this (saved) document as
the data source, insert the "Address" mergefield and off you
go...
