Reformatting complex spread sheet

Trying everything I can to make this collection of tables on one spread
sheet look decent.

Is there a smart way to use Word on them?

I tried opening the whole sheet in Word, but it¹s just too much.

Even then, I get all of the cells around the tables as well as the formatted
cells I want to change.

Is there any way to ³select² tables or maybe to ³select² cells with
formatting?
