Refresh Data

I am pulling secondary data into a form. Expression boxes are populated
based on drop down lists pulling from this source. During data entry the
user may realize that information in the secondary data source is incorrect.
I have a button that opens a new form and allows the user to make those
changes and submit them to the secondary database. The user returns to the
initial form and selects the Refresh button to refresh that data. However
the data in the expression boxes do not reflect the changes made to the
database. How can I make that happen?
