I
isthis
i want word 2010 to refresh fields (like indexes etc) automatically. I like
to have the most updated look, but is annoyed that i have to do it myself all
the time: each time i add a chapter to the text or a source to the
bibliography, i manually have to click "update", and even then i ALSO have to
click "update all". That's just lazy design.
Another thing i hate is the dictionary and thesaurus thing. All my documents
are written in either english or danish or a combination of those.
Unfortunately the dictionary thing is so complicated to use that i literally
toggle it off when i reinstall word. (!!!!) A better system would be where i
at install can select which languages i want to use, and then the dictionary
and thesaurus simply works. As it is now the thesaurus NEVER functions (in
either language) and i can't get the dictionary to function properly: if i
choose "danish" it underlines all english words and doesnt recognize certain
well known danish words and accepts words that doesnt even belong to ANY
language, including danish language.
As it is now, the whole dictionary/thesaurus/translation part of office is
severely user hostile. ;-(
