Refresh Linked Forms

When I open a linked form for a specific record it displays the data entered from a previous record. How do I set the linked form properties to tell it to save the data entered to that specific record only, and then open as a blank form when I open a different record, so new specific data can be entered and saved? I am pulling out my already-gray hair over this!
