Refresh linked shapes

I created a company org chart that connects dynmically to an Access Database.
Using the org chart wizard, I set it to 'refresh linked shapes' custom
properties on document open', however, when I open the visio(2002) file,
it does not automatically update changes made in the database, I must
manually 'refresh linked shapes'.

I downloaded the trial verison of visio 2003, and ran the same wizard the
same way. On open it notifies you that you are about to connect to an
ODBC file and when you select OK, changes are automatically updated.

I need this to work in 2002. Can anyone help?
