Refresh problem in Outlook 2000 and Win XP

Jeroen

Hello,

does anybody have a sollution for me ?
I have mixed some Win2000 / XPsp2 clients.
On the XP2 clients outlook 2000 (part of office incl. sp3) is not refreshing
automaticly. So when mail comes in, it only shows up when you click the
outbox or another folder and then inbox again ....
Only on XP machines.
I tried to add OUTLOOK.EXE to the firewall exeptions, it does not work.
Also shutting down the complete firewall did not help.

ANy clou ?
Thanks in advance

While you may have tried to add Outlook to the firewall's exceptions list,
the symptoms you describe are typical of the firewall blocking UDP packets.
See if any of these helps:
