What version of Excel? What kind of data are you trying to _refresh_? What
"data option" is dimmed out? Is this a file you created on your Mac or did
it come from another source? If another source, what?

There's no doubt someone will be willing & able to help you, but you've got
to help us see what the problem seems to be - we aren't able to look over
your shoulder :)

Okay, I'm not an expert on this, but I think I know what the problem is.

Web Queries are saved as separate files, so if the query wasn't brought
over/recreated on the Mac along with the .xls your file can't make the
necessary connection - IOW, the link is broken & therefore can't be
refreshed. The current copy of the file essentially now stores static data.

I'm certain someone will give you more specific ideas on how to proceed, but
in the meanwhile you may want to review XL Help on Web Queries - they're
handled differently in Mac XL than in the PC version.

Also - no real bearing on this issue perhaps - but I'd suggest you update
Office. Current version is 11.3.4
